IMPORTANT LAKES COMMUNITY UPDATE


Dear Owners:

The safety of our owners and our staff is one of our biggest concerns.  The Coronavirus/COVID-19 Pandemic remains uncertain and can be very stressful to many of us.  We continue planning for contingencies that may arise in the community as a result of the COVID-19, and we have outlined some below.  

The management office is closed to the public at this time and our office staff will be working from their homes.  We will check for voice messages going to our extensions.  Everyone will have full access to their e-mails which is the best means of communication if possible.  We will also retrieve items from the office periodically.   

We have staff routinely driving through and visiting your community to observe and report maintenance or other issues that may arise.

If you do not have the ability to e-mail or fax, you are welcome to use the drop box at the front door of our management office or you can mail any items that you cannot send to us via e-mail or fax. 

Please look to the association website or email communications for scheduling of future board meetings and necessary updates.  We will be doing our best to continue business as usual and welcome your communications, but please be patient as the speed/delivery time may be a bit slower.

In regards to common areas and association amenities, we recommend that all owners limit usage, practice social distancing, avoid groups and wash hands thoroughly especially after contact with commonly touched surfaces. We want to stress to all owners to please take this situation seriously and do your part to minimize the spread of this disease.  The association encourages you to review safety guidelines and look for updates from the CDC, the local health department and the World Health Organization.

As a reminder, please be aware of scams during this time. You can keep up to date with the latest Coronavirus-related scams at www.ftc.gov/coronavirus.

We will get through this together. By taking these actions now and following a sensible plan, we can hopefully look forward to a brighter year.  A school superintendent said, “In the end, it will be impossible to know if we overacted or did too much, but it will be QUITE apparent if we under reacted or did too little”.

  • Signs may be posted on property no longer than 4 weeks prior to the election and must be removed within 1 week after the election.
  • Only one sign per property is permitted.
  • The size of the signs must not exceed 18×24 inches.
